Shyness

In my lifetime I have only received one professional massage.  When I was taken to the room I was told to disrobe, lie on the table with my face down in the donut pillow, and cover myself with a sheet.  Well I decided I could not handle being naked with only a thin white sheet to cover myself.  So, this was my compromise.  I left my underwear and socks on, then got under the sheet.  This made me feel a lot better about being nearly naked.  Truly, the socks made me feel better.  As my face was pressed into the donut pillow I did wonder about what the masseuse thought about my socks.

Fuzzy Ice

This is what I call "fuzzy ice."  It is a strange phenomenon that occurs unpredictably and one of my favorite things.  I love when the soda I poured into a glass of ice crystallizes onto the sides of the ice, making fuzzy ice. I have tried to figure out the formula, using room temperature soda or cold soda, but nothing works every time so it is a much enjoyed surprise.  I love fuzzy ice.

Kony 2012

I just watched a video by Invisible Children about Joseph Kony, a war criminal who is abducting children in Uganda and using them as sex slaves and forcing them to kill on his behalf.  Everyone should watch this video and decide on their own about what to do about it.
