I like to think I was one of the first people to get a kindle. I have the first one that was available so it is a couple years old, and I still love it. It works great is easy to use and you can download books from anywhere, except on a train in Italy. This is by far my favorite part of the Kindle. I love reading series of books and this way I don't have to run out of the house when I finish the book I can just download another. Also there are tons of free books (all books written before 1920 and others) and other books that are cheap too!! Hooray I love love love the Kindle.

I love my Kindle too. It is so convenient for travel and waiting. I only have to carry my kindle not two or three books to keep me busy for long stretches.
